Speed up your metabolism pt.2

This week, we continue with our second of three parts looking at increasing the metabolism -teaching the body to increase the consumption of calories while we rest!

3) Add High Intensity training to your exercise regime, High Intensity training will help burn more body-fat while spending less time in the gym. A shorter, brief

but intense session increases the bodies metabolism and burns fat longer while you rest. If you believe you do not have time to train or unsure of how to train or incorporate into your schedule then please feel free to book a call. Also, be mindful not to over-train as this will slow the metabolism and potentially harm your short

term goals as the body slows down to protect itself which could lead to thyroid, hormone and libido issues.

4) Ensure you are hydrated

Drink between 2 to 2.5 litres of water per day – filtered, not via the household tap !

Spread these throughout the day. We have touched on taking in half a litre upon waking with sea-salt and some lime juice. Continue sipping throughout the day – maybe changing a couple of your skinny lattes for a nice large glass of sparkling water! Staying hydrated will also help your energy levels and gut motility as well as flushing toxins from your body.

Add the above to your 'Ancestral' lifestyle over the next 30 days and let us know if you feel any different – maybe an increase in energy or a reduction in body-fat !
